The Animal-Assisted Counseling in Play Therapy (AAC-PT) training incorporates skills in AAC with play therapy competencies. This training has three primary topics: Introduction to AAC-PT, Child-Centered AAC-PT, and Solution-Focused AAC-PT. Learning modalities for this training include online instruction, discussions, quizzes, readings, and skills checks. Participants will earn 100 play therapy CEs through this training and their work in the Texas State University AAC Academy.
